Care & Maintenance
Washing
Wash when needed with lukewarm water and a gentle, sulphate-free shampoo. Follow with a moisturising conditioner through the lengths and ends. Rinse thoroughly and avoid rubbing or twisting the hair.
Detangling
Detangle gently from the ends upward while supporting the hair.
Moisture
Raw hair benefits from regular hydration. Use a lightweight leave-in conditioner or a small amount of hair serum when needed, avoiding excessive product build-up.
Drying
Gently remove excess water and allow the hair to air-dry whenever possible.
Heat & Styling
The hair can be straightened, curled and styled. Always use heat protection and moderate temperatures. Frequent exposure to excessive heat can alter the hair's natural texture and reduce its longevity.
Colouring
Raw Indian Hair can be professionally coloured and lightened. Because colouring permanently alters the hair, we strongly recommend professional processing.
Night Care
Never sleep with wet or tangled hair. Gently detangle before bed and secure the hair in a loose braid or low ponytail. A silk or satin bonnet or pillowcase is recommended to minimise friction.
Longevity
Raw Indian Hair is selected for its quality and ability to perform beautifully over time. Its lifespan will depend on installation, frequency of wear, colouring, heat styling and maintenance.
